Bowling Green, Ohio - Bowling Green State University Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Corporate Relations Jason Horn has announced that Brian Delehoy has been named Promotion and Sales Manager for the Falcons. He replaces Manni Banks who left BGSU last year for a position at Murray State.
"I knew from the outset that relocating from Southern California to Northwest Ohio would be a unique experience, and I've enjoyed every bit of it," said Delehoy. "It's a privilege to work for a university with such a rich tradition in athletics, and I'm excited to be entering my second year with BGSU in a more permanent position."
Born and raised in Anaheim, CA, Delehoy joined the BGSU Athletic Department staff in September of 2005 and just completed his first season with the marketing department on an interim basis. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing from Cal State Fullerton in 2002, where he began his career in collegiate athletics as a Marketing Assistant for Titan Athletics from November 2001-June 2004.
Just prior to relocating to Northwest Ohio to join the Falcon Athletics staff, he worked for the Golden Baseball League as the Director of Ticket Sales for the Fullerton Flyers Professional Baseball Club during their inaugural 2005 season.
"Brian has been a great addition to the team," said Horn. "He brings great creativity and know how that will allow BGSU athletics to continue to grow our fan base and improve our gameday atmosphere of affordable entertainment."
