Junior Jessica McCann carded a 73 (37-36) to help lead the Bowling Green State University women's golf team to a first-place lead following day one of the YSU/Taco Bell Invitational. The Falcons, who are the defending champion of this tournament, had three Falcons in the top seven.
McCann as mention fired a 73 for medalist on day one.
Junior Lindsey Jonkhoff shot 77 (40-37) and is tied for sixth. Her 77 matches her season best, carded last week at the Laker Fall Classic.
Carley Hrusovsky matched her season-best with a 78 (37-41) shot just a few days ago at the Cardinal Classic in Muncie Indiana.
Kari Liggett (41-44--85, T-25th) and Amanda Bader (41-45--86, T-31st) rounded out the top five for the Brown and Orange.
