The meet will mark the first time the programs will compete in the on-campus facility the Keating Aquatics Center; the aquatics center opened in February of 2006 as part of the grand opening of the UC Campus Recreation Center.
Six days later the squad will travel to rival Toledo for an evening showdown with the Rockets on Friday and will continue north to Ypsilanti take on the defending MAC Champions, the Eagles of Eastern Michigan University Saturday. The UT meet will anchor a four meet conference tour.
BGSU will take to the road once again on Nov. 4 to face the Ohio University Bobcats in Athens. A Nov. 10th home meet with Ball State will cap the MAC fall tour.
Buff and company will take nearly three weeks way from competitive action and will return to participate in the Ohio State Invitational in Columbus. The December 1-3 weekend tournament will be the first and final tournament the Falcons will take part in before the conference championships in February. The OSU Invite will also be the only time the Falcons will race in the month of December.
The new year will not start for the Falcons until Jan. 13 when they make a trip to Akron to battle the Zips, who will compete under newly named head coach Nittaya Klim.
The Falcons will honor their seniors on Jan. 20 at Cooper Pool as BGSU welcomes the Bulls of the University at Buffalo for the final home meet of the season.
The regular season will come to a close in Oxford when the squad travels to the site of last year's MAC Championship. The RedHawks of Miami University, a perennial swimming power, place second overall at the conference championships.
The Falcons finished fourth overall last season at the MAC Championships in a field of eight competing schools. Caroline Keating led all Falcons with third place finishes in three solo events and one relay.
