Falcons Head to Central Michigan for Tri-Meet Friday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - With the first half of the indoor track season drawing to a close, the Falcons prepare to travel to Mt. Pleasant, Mich. this Friday to compete against the Central Michigan Chippewas and the Toledo Rockets in a three-team meet scheduled to begin at 5 p.m.
So far this season... The Falcons have enjoyed a moderate level of success as a team. In team competition they are 4-3 on the season with a number of athletes reaching personal bests in their individual events. They have competed against several MAC schools including Miami, Western Michigan, Ball State, Northern Illinois, Ohio and Eastern Michigan. The team is 0-1 against Western Michigan, 1-1 against Miami, and 1-0 against Northern Illinois, Ball State and Eastern Michigan. Although they have competed against Ohio, no team scores were kept. By the All-Ohio Championships the only three MAC teams that the Falcons will not face until the MAC Indoor Championships will be Buffalo, Kent and Akron.
BGSU Athletes in Top-Ten Not only have a number of personal-records been set, but there are several Falcons appearing on the top-ten of the MAC Indoor Track and Field's best performance list.

Up next... After they visit the Chippewas the Orange and Brown will return home to host the 2007 Indoor All-Ohio Championships Saturday Feb. 10. There will be two days of competition with the first day set for Feb. 9th and will feature events such as the multi-events, Distance Medlay Relay and the 4x800. The main competition will be held at BGSU on Saturday with events starting at 11:30 a.m.
