BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - Each week, Bowling Green State University Assistant Vice President/Director of Athletics Greg Christopher answers a few of the many questions that have been submitted to BGSUFalcons.com. Here is the latest installment ...
Q: Has there been any discussion about selling beer at Doyt Perry Stadium, similar to what Kent State does at Dix Stadium?
Zak in Columbus
A: I don't foresee beer being available in the general concession areas at The Doyt. We currently allow beer sales in limited and contained areas - the tailgate park on the east side of the stadium during pre-game, the Falcon Club tent (pre-game and halftime) and in the private suites.
Q: Where do things stand on the latest in a long string of feasibility plans for Anderson Arena and the Ice Arena?
Bob in Toledo
A: The most recent work was a Facility Master Plan (FMP) that studied each of BGSU Athletics' facilities. An overview of the FMP was recently presented to the President and trustees for their review. In the coming weeks, we'll adapt the summary and place it on our web site for fans to look through. The specific plans for Anderson and the Ice Arena will be outlined later this fall in conjunction with other campus facility projects.
