CINCINNATI, Ohio - Bowling Green State University men's basketball coach Louis Orr has announced that junior forward Dusan Radivojevic is no longer with the program. Radivojevic, a native of Cacak, Serbia & Montenegro, averaged 3.4 points per game in his two seasons with the Falcons.
"Dusan and I came to a mutual agreement, and we wish him the best in his future endeavors," said Orr.
Orr also announced the addition of sophomore Matt Karaffa to the Falcons' active roster. Karaffa, a 6-3 guard/forward from West Chester, Ohio (Lakota West H.S.), made the team through walk-on tryouts. He made the trip to Cincinnati with the team, and will be in uniform when the Falcons open the season Friday (Nov. 9).
"Matt has proven himself to be a hard worker through the walk-on tryouts and in practices," said Orr. "We feel he will be a solid contributor to the program, on and off the court."
The Falcons will face Western Carolina University on Friday, in the first of three games in as many days at the Peggy Cronin Classic. Tipoff for Friday's WCU game is 5:00 p.m. at UC's Fifth Third Arena.
