The final relay of the Invitational proved again how strong the Falcon relays are. The Orange and Brown team of Richardson, Yee, Jordan and Sarah Burston took ninth in the 400-yard freestyle relay, while teammates Enright, Yu, Sarah Reinink and Frankie Houck finished 11th.
Other notable swims in today's events were Amanda Rom, Katie Womack and Meg Richardson in the 200-yard breaststroke; Kristen Tetuan in the 200 back; and Liz Harper in the 200 fly.
Throughout the weekend the swimming and diving Falcons secured nine top fifteen places in individual events and 11 top fifteen places in relays while three girls set new personal bests.
"Our success at this meet has made us hungry for more," said head coach Keri Buff. "It has given our women confidence, focus and drive to step up our training for the next 11 weeks, go to MACs and throw down."
The Falcons are now headed into the hardest part of their training. They will return to the pool after the New Year on January 3, 2009 in Coral Springs, Fla., for the Coral Springs Invitational.
