Bowling Green Falls To Ohio

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) -- Jerome Tillman scored 14 points and had eight rebounds to lead Ohio to a 69-48 win over Bowling Green on Tuesday night.

Allen Hester added 12 points and Bubba Walther contributed 10 points for the Bobcats. Both teams had a slow first half, which ended tied at 22.

Ohio (17-9, 8-5 Mid-American Conference) outscored Bowling Green by 21 points in the second half by shooting 56.7 percent (17-of-30) from the field, including 6-of-9 from behind the 3-point line.

Bowling Green (11-14, 6-7) shot only 35.6 percent for the game and had 19 turnovers to Ohio's nine.

Nate Miller and Joe Jakubowski each scored 12 points for the Falcons. Miller had 9 rebounds.
