2008 Falcon Sports Kickoff Event Set for Saturday, August 23 at 6:00 p.m.

The second annual Falcon Sports Kickoff Event, an "open house" opportunity for fans of BGSU Athletics to meet, greet and challenge their favorite Falcon student-athletes, is scheduled for Saturday, August 23 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. under the lights at Doyt Perry Stadium.

Admission is FREE, with the evening's festivities consisting of numerous on-field fan-interactive stations with different Falcon teams, a FREE raffle, an opportunity to purchase the Official 2008-09 BGSU Athletics Fan T-Shirt at a special discounted price, and a photo/autograph opportunity with a variety of BGSU student-athletes.  Concessions will also be open, with a variety of food and beverage items available for purchase.

Event timeline:

6:00 p.m. - Fan check-in and raffle entry at southeast entrance (Gate 14) of Doyt Perry Stadium

6:00-7:15 p.m. - On-field fan-interactive stations with BGSU student-athletes and coaches

7:15-8:00 p.m. - Photo/autograph opportunity with select BGSU student-athletes from various teams

Parking recommended in game day stadium lots east of Doyt Perry Stadium for easy access to southeast entrance (Gate 14) via walkways.
