Falcons Finalize 2008-09 Schedule

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (BGSUFalcons.com) - The Bowling Green State University men's basketball program has finalized the 2008-09 schedule. Head coach Louis Orr and the Falcons have added several non-conference games to the schedule released earlier this week.
BGSU's home opener now will be Thursday, Nov. 20, against Wayne State. That game will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
The Falcons also have added a road game against Savannah State on Monday, Dec. 1, and a home game vs. Towson three weeks later (Dec. 22).
The addition of the WSU and Towson games gives the Falcons a total of 14 home regular-season contests this season. That list includes eight Mid-American Conference games, five non-conference games and an ESPNU BracketBusters contest at "The House That Roars" on Feb. 21.
Orr and his staff return a total of 11 letterwinners, including all 10 from last season's club, plus an additional player (Erik Marschall) who lettered in prior years.
