MISSION STATEMENT:
The mission of the strength and conditioning staff is to provide safe, productive, and time efficient sport specific strength and conditioning programs for all varsity sports. We will employ programs based upon sound physiological principles and proven methods to condition the student-athletes for athletics. The methods used will minimize risk of injury while increasing work capacity and performance related attributes. Our goal is to provide the student-athletes with the best "hands on" strength and conditioning program possible. The staff is committed to building team cohesiveness and mental toughness through a disciplined approach to training. We will strive to create a training environment, which is positive, enthusiastic, and fun to be involved in. Additionally, we will educate student-athletes in healthy behavior (nutrition/rest/lifestyle) away from the training environment to enhance recovery and performance. In all our endeavors, we are committed to the principles of ethical conduct, integrity, and excellence.
