Cleveland, Ohio - Bowling Green senior Nate Miller led the Falcons to the No. 1 seed for the Mid-American Conference Tournament and was named MAC Eastern Division Player of the Week for his efforts. Miller had a pair of double-doubles on the week.
Miller started the week with 12 points, a career-high 16 rebounds, and five steals in a hard-fought overtime road loss to Miami. He added three assists and a blocked shot in that contest but the Falcons were unable to clinch the division championship or the No. 1 seed.
But Bowling Green's game Sunday was never in doubt. Miller was honored for senior day and then led the Falcons to a 75-41 win over Ohio. BG scored 20 of the first 23 points and never looked back, leading by as many as 37 in the second half. With Buffalo's win over Miami, the Falcons clinched the top seed in the MAC Tournament. Miller had 14 points and 11 rebounds while picking up four more steals and four assists.
For the week, Miller averaged 13.0 points, 13.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 4.5 steals on the week. He shot 58 percent from the field as the Falcons finished the regular season 18-12 overall and 11-5 in the conference.
