
Gymnastics Makes it Three in Row; Down UIC

RESULTS
The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team posted a season-best team score to down Illinois-Chicago on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons, who outscored the Flames 193.300-192.750, have now won three consecutive matches after opening the season 0-2.
In the all-around event the Orange and Brown were led by Kasey Fillmore and Breanne Guy. Fillmore finished second with a score of 38.700, while Guy was not far behind, posting a mark of 38.575 to finish fourth.
Danielle Wishart continued her strong season, finishing first on the floor (9.875), first on the beam (9.825) and second on the vault (9.875). Wishart was the lone Falcon in the top-three on the vault.
On bars, Guy led the way, finishing first with a score of 9.775. Fillmore was just behind, posting a score of 9.750.
As mentioned before Wishart won the beam and was joined by Megan Chronister, who finished third (9.775) and Fillmore, who finished fourth (9.725).
BGSU (3-2, 2-0 MAC) claimed three of the top four spots on the floor, led by Wishart. Guy and Dawn Christman finished in a tie for second with a score of 9.825.
Up next for the Orange and Brown will be a Valentine's Day (Feb. 14) meet with the Cardinals of Ball State. Tumbling begins at 2 p.m.
