
Falcons Fall at West Virginia

RESULTS
The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team dropped a 194.725-191.550 decision to West Virginia on Saturday afternoon in Morgantown, WV. The loss pushes the Orange and Brown's record to 5-5 overall, but continue to remain atop the Mid-American Conference standings with a perfect 4-0 record.
Breanne Guy was her usual self, scoring a 38.225 in the all-around to finish second. Her teammate, Kasey Fillmore, was third posting a 37.650.
On vault freshmen Sunny Marchand and Danielle Wishart were the top Falcon competitors, finishing fourth overall with scores of 9.775.
Guy finished fourth on the bars to lead BGSU, finishing fourth overall with a 9.700. Freshman Monica Eaton was sixth (9.625).
Guy continued to show why she should be feared in a few weeks at the MAC Championships, scoring a 9.825 on balance beam, second-best mark in the meet. Wishart was fifth (9.750) and Eaton was eighth (9.650).
On floor Dawn Christman finished third overall with a 9.725, followed by Fillmore (9.625) to finish fifth.
The Falcons will return to MAC action next weekend when they travel to Kent, Ohio, to square-off with the Golden Flashes. The meet is scheduled for Mar. 14 and will begin at 1 p.m.
