Page Inks Deal to Return to Walleye

Former BGSU Falcons, Kyle Page, will return to the Toledo Walleyes for his second season.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Toledo Walleye (ECHL) hockey team announced today that the team and Kyle Page (Wixom, Mich.) have agreed to a contract that will return the defenseman for 2010-11 after reaching the playoffs in the team's inaugural season.
The two-time captain of the Falcons ended his career in Brown and Orange setting career highs as a senior in assists (14) and points (17). In 146 games as a Falcon, Page scored seven goals and notched 27 assists while being named to the All-CCHA Rookie Honorable Mention Team in 2006-07 and three times awarded the Jim Ruehl for being the team's best defensive player.
The Toledo Walleye will begin the regular season on Friday, October 15 at 7:00 PM in Wheeling, W.Va. against the Nailers. The home opener will be Saturday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m. when the Walleye host Wheeling at the Huntington Center.
