Falcons to be Featured on National Television This Season

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – Bowling Green Hockey will be seen on televisions across the nation this season, as announced by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) today. The complete television schedule for the conference was released today and included three games that Bowling Green will be featured in.

The Falcons will begin and end the television season. Bowling Green's season will debut on the Comcast family of networks when the opening regular season, home contest with the University of Michigan on Friday, Oct. 8 airs on national television. Game time is set for 7:05 pm EST.
Bowling Green will have both of their final two regular season games against Michigan State University on Feb. 25-26 aired as well. Friday's (Feb. 25) game against the Spartans will be shown on Fox Sports Detroit. Saturday's game at 7:35pm EST will be aired on the Comcast family of networks.
A total of 41 regular season, CCHA games will be shown between Comcast (19 games), Fox Sports (16 games), the Big Ten Network (5 games) and CBSC College Sports (8 games) this season. In addition, those networks will show all of the CCHA Tournament, a total of eight games, including the semi-final and championship rounds. Comcast may air up to three more games this season.
With the exception of the season opener versus Michigan on Oct. 8, all Falcon home games will be broadcast through America One (formerly the B2 Network). Season passes and game-by-game passes are available for purchase by clicking here.
The entire slate of Falcon hockey games will be broadcast via radio and be available to stream online. All radio broadcasts will be aired live on 88.1 WBGU-FM beginning a half hour prior to the game's start time. All games streamed online will be done through Stretch Internet.
