Falcons To Face Northern Illinois In MAC Tourney Rematch

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will get a rematch with Mid-American Conference regular season champion Northern Illinois in the first round of the MAC Tournament Friday at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
No. 8 seed Bowling Green will face the top seed at 4:30 p.m. in the MAC Tournament quarterfinals. The winner will move on to face the winner of No. 4 Ball State and No. 5 Eastern Michigan in the semifinals Saturday at 2:30 p.m. The championship match will be Sunday at 1 p.m. on SportsTime Ohio.
Bowling Green and Northern Illinois squared off in an epic match Saturday in the Stroh Center. The Falcons won the first two sets but Northern Illinois battled back to win the final three sets and the match.
