Wojtala, Tonyan Named Papa John's Athletes Of The Week

Each week, the Bowling Green State University Athletic Department names the Papa John's Athletes of the Week, as selected by the athletic communications department based on their athletic performances from the previous week. This week's winners are hockey player Cam Wojtala and volleyball player Danielle Tonyan.
Male Athlete of the Week
Cam Wojtala, a sophomore from Trenton, Mich., had a goal and three assists as Bowling Green swept Canisius during the weekend. Wojtala had a goal and an assist in Friday's night 4-1 victory and added two more assists in Saturday's 3-1 win. He has 10 assists on the season, which ranks second in the CCHA.
Female Athlete of the Week
Danielle Tonyan, a sophomore from McHenry, Ill., had 36 kills and hit .293 in two matches on the week. She had 20 kills and hit .417 against Miami Thursday, adding an ace, five digs and two blocks. Against Northern Illinois Saturday, Tonyan posted 16 kills and had five more digs, an ace and a block.
