Kari Galen Named Academic All-MAC Honorable Mention

Cleveland, Ohio - Bowling Green State University sophomore Kari Galen was named Mid-American Conference Academic All-MAC Honorable Mention.
Galen played in 29 matches in 2010, starting 24 times. She averaged a team best 0.78 blocks per set and her 64 total blocks were second on the team. She totaled 93 kills (1.13 per set) and added 16 digs.
In order to qualify for the award, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team's matches. First-year students and junior college transfers in their first year of residency are not eligible for the award.
