Buck Night/Dollar Day Events Coming Up at BGSU Hockey, Women's Hoops

Watch the Niagara (hockey) and Dayton (women's basketball) games for just one dollar each!
The Bowling Green State University department of athletics is offering special promotions for the upcoming hockey and women's basketball home events. The BGSU Athletics Ticket Office has announced that the hockey game vs. Niagara on Saturday, Dec. 29, will be 'Buck Night', and the women's basketball game against Dayton the following afternoon will be 'Dollar Day.
Both events involve nationally-ranked opponents for the BGSU teams, as both the Niagara hockey and Dayton women's basketball teams currently reside in the top 20.
The Falcon hockey team begins the second half of the season by facing the No. 17 Purple Eagles in a 7:00 p.m. puck drop on Dec. 29. Fans can purchase General Admission tickets for just $1 each, and popcorn will also be available for $1 at the BGSU Ice Arena concession stands.
The Falcons and Niagara tied, 2-2, in BGSU's season opener in Western New York on Oct. 6, but the Purple Eagles are now 10-2-4 overall and will come to Northwest Ohio riding a 12-game unbeaten streak.
The following afternoon (Sunday, Dec. 30) will be 'Dollar Day' at the Stroh Center, as the women's basketball Falcons face undefeated and 15th-ranked Dayton in a 1:00 p.m. tipoff. Fans can purchase seats in sections 106 through 112 for just one dollar apiece, and hot dogs will be available for only $1 at the Stroh Center concession stands.
