Snelling Announces 2012 Recruiting Class
February 23, 2012 | Women's Cross Country, Women's Track and Field
Bowling Green State University head track and field/cross country coach Lou Snelling has announced the addition of 11 student-athletes to the Falcon Family. All have signed National Letters of Intent to join BGSU for the 2012-13 academic season.
“This is a good start to Bowling Green Cross Country and Track & Field's 2012 recruiting class,” said Snelling. “I would like to thank our assistant coaches and support staff for the great work they have done. We have without a doubt addressed our current lack of depth with these 11 athletes. Work ethic is the common theme of this group, both on the track and in the classroom. They have high goals in both of those areas and realize the amount of work, patience and focus it will take to get there. This class also understands and embraces the team concept we are working toward. I look forward to finishing up this recruiting class over the next few months; there are several exciting athletes we are going to sign in that period. I also look forward to watching these 11 girls develop into Falcon athletes we can all be proud of.”
