Carpenter Named CCHA Rookie Of The Week

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. -- Freshman Ryan Carpenter has been named the Central Collegiate Hockey Association Gongshow Rookie of the Week, following his efforts this past weekend against Notre Dame. The league office made the announcement on Monday morning.
Carpenter (Oviedo, Fla.) posted two goals and an assist over the weekend, including Saturday night's game-winning goal. Carpenter was named CCHA Rookie Of The Week earlier this season, when he posted a goal and three assists in the season opening series against UConn.
