BGSU Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team, led by first-year head coach Danijela Tomic, will take part in three spring tournaments. The Falcons begin play this weekend at the 2012 Oakland University Spring Fling.
The Falcons will join 12 other teams at Oakland and will compete in the same pool as Ferris State, Madonna, and an Oakland alumni team. BGSU will play Ferris State Saturday at 9:50 a.m., followed by a match against Madonna at 11:30 a.m. The team will then face the alumni team at 2 p.m. BGSU will conclude play with a crossover match against Eastern Michigan at 3:40 p.m.
BGSU will follow that up by playing in the EMU Spring Tournament on March 24. The Falcons will face Wayne State at 10 a.m. before beginning pool play with Toledo, Eastern Michigan and Cleveland State. BGSU will face Eastern Michigan at 11 a.m. followed by Cleveland State at 1 p.m. The Falcons will conclude against Toledo at 4 p.m.
Finally, BGSU will compete in a tournament March 31 in Rolling Prairie, Ind. in a tournament hosted by the Dunes Volleyball Club. A complete schedule of that event is yet to be announced.
