Volleyball Team Gives Back With Free Clinic

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team gave back to the community today, providing a free clinic for the Perrysburg Heights Community Association.
Freddie and Frieda Falcon made a guest appearance at the clinic and volleyball players Lindsey Butterfield, Laura Avila, Kari Galen, Kaitlyn Skinner, and Erica Fullenkamp provided training alongside the entire BGSU volleyball coaching staff. Approximately 18 students took part in the free clinic.
The BGSU volleyball team, under first year head coach Danijela Tomic, begins the 2012 season with a Brown and Orange Scrimmage on Aug. 18 at 2 p.m. in the Stroh Center. Fans will have a chance to get autographs and meet the team afterwards. The team will also put on another free clinic after the match that day. The regular season opens Aug. 24 at the Marquette Tournament and the Falcons will play their home opener Sept. 21 against Ohio at 7 p.m.
