Countdown To First Serve: 7 Days

The 2013 Bowling Green State University volleyball season is just seven days away from first serve. Tomorrow (Aug. 24), the Falcons will host the annual Orange vs. White scrimmage, at noon inside the Stroh Center. Each day BGSUFalcons.com is featuring one of the 18 student-athletes on this year's roster. Today, senior Libby Dachenhaus is spotlighted. Dachenhaus, a native of Toledo, Ohio, graduated from St. Ursula Academy. Last season, she played in 26 matches, posting 182 digs. Get to know Dachenhaus by watching the video below.
Getting To Know Libby Dachenhaus
Fans have numerous opportunities to see the 2013 Falcons play in August, beginning on August 24 with the Orange and White scrimmage. That game will be played inside Stroh Center at 12:00 p.m. The following weekend, the Falcons will host the Hampton Inn Invitational. With the strongest field in the tournament's history, the Orange and Brown will begin a challenging non-conference slate. Season tickets for the 2013 season begin as low as $48 (12 home matches). Season ticket information can be found by clicking HERE. The Hampton Inn Invitational will feature two teams ranked in the AVCA Preseason Top 25. Joining Bowling Green at the Stroh Center will be, No. 13 BYU, No. 25 Creighton, and Marquette. The tournament will feature five games over two days, and the schedule can be found below:

4:30 PM - #25 Creighton vs. #13 BYU
7:00 PM - Bowling Green vs. Marquette
August 31
10:00 AM - Bowling Green vs. #25 Creighton
