Countdown To First Serve: Three Days

As the 2013 volleyball season rapidly approaches, BGSUFalcons.com is getting you prepared with Countdown To First Serve. Each day, one of the 18 players on the roster will be featured. Today's spotlight player is senior Lindsey Butterfield. Butterfield, a first-team all-MAC player in 2012, is from Springfield, Ohio. Butterfield also garnered attention for her play in the Mid-American Conference Tournament, earning all-MAC tournament team honors. Get to know Butterfield by watching the video below.
Getting To Know Lindsey Butterfield
Fans have numerous opportunities to see the 2013 Falcons play in August, beginning on August 24 with the Orange and White scrimmage. That game will be played inside Stroh Center at 12:00 p.m. The following weekend, the Falcons will host the Hampton Inn Invitational. With the strongest field in the tournament's history, the Orange and Brown will begin a challenging non-conference slate. Season tickets for the 2013 season begin as low as $48 (12 home matches). Season ticket information can be found by clicking HERE. The Hampton Inn Invitational will feature two teams ranked in the AVCA Preseason Top 25. Joining Bowling Green at the Stroh Center will be, No. 13 BYU, No. 25 Creighton, and Marquette. The tournament will feature five games over two days, and the schedule can be found below:

August 31
