Ice Hockey Weekend Highlights: Week 2 - UAH

The Falcons scored a total of nine goals against UAH over the past weekend, earning four points in the WCHA standings.
Bowling Green, Ohio-- Every week, the BGSU Athletic Communications Department will post a video of the Falcons' highlights from the previous weekend. Bowling Green opened Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) play last weekend, taking on the University of Alabama in Huntsville. The Falcons scored a season-high five goals --including two power play goals--, and freshman Chris Nell shutout the Chargers Friday night, taking the opening game 5-0. The Orange and Brown then scored four more goals to defeat UAH, 4-1, on Saturday night. Sophomore forward Kevin Dufour tallied three more goals over the weekend, giving him a total of six on the season and is currently leading the NCAA in goals scored.
