Volleyball Announces Spring Schedule

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team has announced its spring schedule and the Falcons will compete in three events in March and April.
The Falcons will open the spring compete at Eastern Michigan on March 29, followed by competition at Youngstown State April 5 and at Oakland April 12.
BGSU Head Coach Danijela Tomic will look to replace a large group of seven seniors from the 2013 team. The program does return Jelena Sunjic, a member of the MAC's All-Freshman Team and will be led by a duo of seniors in 2014 – Kelsey Bates and Erica Fullenkamp. However, the Falcons will be one of the youngest teams in the country with no juniors on the squad.
"Our spring training has been going very well," Tomic said. "Our returners are fully committed to their individual technical and tactical development, as well as to our growth as a team. These playing dates are great opportunities to transfer what we have been working on in practice into a competitive environment against other collegiate teams. It will also allow our young players to gain some valuable playing experience before the fall season."
