Perrysburg, Ohio – In the one-day, 36-hole Rocket Individual Classic on Sunday, Oct. 25, BGSU's Mitchell Kontak posted a second-place finish with a Falcon low round 152, +8, to lead four Falcon golfers at the individual event held at the Belmont Country Club in Perrysburg, Ohio.

Kontak was one of three golfers to finish in a tie for second-place overall with a 36-hole score of 152, +8, as the sophomore carded rounds of 78, +6, and 74, +2, for the one-day event.

Redshirt-freshman Max Rispler placed in a tie for 13th overall with rounds of 78, +6, and 81, +9, for a 36-hole combined score of 159, +15, while just three strokes behind him was junior Eli Stacy with a score of 162, +18, with rounds of 82, +10, and 80, +8, overall.

Rounding out the Falcon golfers was Ethan DeForest with a two-round combined score of 164, +20. DeForest shot rounds of 77, +5, and 87, +15, on Sunday.

Spencer Shoemaker of Toledo won the event with a 36-hole score of 149, +5, and three strokes ahead of the next golfer.
