Three things I would take with me to a deserted island …
Sunscreen, friend, food. I would need the food for obvious reasons. My friend would keep me company, but the sunscreen would probably be most crucial.Â
Â
One destination in the world for a vacation that I have never visited before but would like to …
Australia. Something about it is just very appealing to me. I like the laid-back life style and as much as I love the snow, I would love to live on the beach.Â
One random fact about me is …
I am an incredibly curious person.  I ask a lot of questions (some may argue too many) but I love learning new things.Â
Â
I wish I had time to learn how to play guitar. Something I wish I had done more as a kid was taken the time to play an instrument.Â
             Â
The best feeling in volleyball is …
Setting up a perfectly timed block, jumping and hearing the ball bounce straight back to the ground. The feeling of being synched with your wing blocker and knowing the hitter has no shot is the best.Â
I started playing volleyball when I was …
11 because my mom wanted to coach me at something since my dad coached me in basketball since I was younger. My sister who is two years older was getting into volleyball too so it was natural for me to follow in her footsteps. I am so thankful I did.Â
Â
The part of my game I want to improve the most before the fall season is …
my hitting efficiency. I need to work on when I should place balls or when I should go for the kill. With that, I think I could become a more reliable attacker which would help us spread our offense.Â
Â
My favorite class at BGSU is …
KNS 3600, exercise physiology. We learn about what our body goes through under stress and workouts, it is interesting to me because I can look at these ideas and see how they apply to me while I am working out. It is also incredible to me just how amazing the human body can be.Â
Â
I chose to come to BGSU because …
I loved the atmosphere. Everything from the arena, the teammates, the coaching staff, campus, and size just felt right to me. I also love how the fan base from the community, it's fun to start seeing familiar faces in the crowd.Â
Â
As a freshman, an older girl told me the girls on your team become family and the most important thing is to have each other's backs. This has stuck with me and I have found it to be true because of the bond all of us have.Â
My pre-game "must listen to" musical artist is…
Whatever is playing in the locker room, but it cannot be slow. I need upbeat music to get me ready. I also enjoy some good throwbacks.Â
My dream job is …
If I could have any job in the world, I would be a food critic so I could travel the world and eat some of the best food from top chefs. It would be the best of both worlds; getting paid to travel and eat. However, realistically, I would love to be a pediatric physical therapist because I love learning about the body and helping people. I also love how optimistic little kids are and I think they would be a great age group to work with.Â
Â
If I could have any superpower, I would choose …
Teleportation because then I could go anywhere I wanted within minutes. It would come in handy when I would be going to class but it would also be cool because I could go across the country or world anytime I wanted.Â
If I could have dinner with any famous person dead or alive, it would be….
Morgan Freeman. I would have him tell me stories about his life or read me a book because he has a great voice.Â
Â
The person I look up to the most is….
My brother. He is hard working and always makes family a priority. He is a reliable person and I know he will always be there for me.
