Leading Scorer Brandon Hawkins Named Jim Sears Team MVP

Bowling Green, Ohio - Each year, the Bowling Green State University hockey program hands out a variety of postseason awards. For the first time this year, those award winners will be announced exclusively on BGSUFalcons.com. Listed below are each of the awards and the winners as they are unveiled.
Brandon Hawkins has been named the Jim Sears Most Valuable Player. As a freshman, Hawkins earned the Sam Cooper Leading Scorer Award by posting a team-high 30 points with 16 goals and 14 assists. He had four power-play goals, four game-winning goals and the lone penalty shot score of the season. He was a WCHA All-Rookie Team member.
