BATTLE OF I-75
The Falcons will welcome Toledo for the Battle of I-75 to close out the regular season at home. The big-time conference matchup will be aired on ESPN3, so all fans are encouraged to come out and support the Falcons for a final time at home in an Orange Out televised game!
PREVIEW OF TOLEDO
Last week, the Rockets split a pair of matches, as they defeated Northern Illinois 1-0 in overtime with a goal in the 103rd minute, but then lost a back-and-forth match to Western Michigan 4-3. Leading the way for the Rockets is senior Kiersten Johnson with 10 goals on the season. Fellow senior Brooke Maletic leads the Rockets in assists with four. In goal for the Rockets is sophomore Katie Wilson who has five shut outs on the year and is averaging 1.46 goals allowed per game and a .733 save percentage. Toledo is averaging 12.1 shots per game with .523 of those being on goal. Â

FALCONS VERSUS THE ROCKETS ON THE PITCH
The Falcons are 7-12-4 all-time in The Battle of I-75 against Toledo. The most recent match up was last season where the Falcons were shut out 2-0 on Oct. 9, 2015.
LAST WEEK'S WRAP UP
The Falcons split a pair of matches last week. Sophomore Erica Hubert netted a hat trick in the game against Western Michigan but it wasn't enough as the Falcons lost 4-3. The Falcons came back strong on Senior Day and were able to defeat Northern Illinois 2-0 with goals from freshmen Sam Howshar and Rachel Muller. Freshman Kathleen Duwve recorded an impressive 10 saves on the day which helped her record her fourth shut out on the year.
With the three-goal game, Hubert earned Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors from the Mid-American Conference. In the Falcons eighth win of the season, Muller marked her first collegiate goal, helping lift the Bowling Green women's soccer program to the most wins since the 2008 campaign.
ON TAP FOR THE FALCONS
The Falcons are currently ninth in the Mid-American Conference standings, making them one spot out from the MAC tournament. The Falcons postseason will be decided on Thursday dependent on other results throughout the conference.
