Volleyball Announces Dates for Falcon Volleyball Summer Camps

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball program has announced that it will be hosting not one, not two, but three Falcon Volleyball Camps that are available for children of all ages this summer in the month of July at the Stroh Center on the campus of Bowling Green State University.
The Falcons will host the Lil/Junior Falcons Summer Camp on July 11-13, an All Skills Camp on the same dates from July 11-13 and a Serve & Pass Clinic on July 14.

Lil/Junior Falcons Summer Camp (Register Here)
The Lil/Junior Falcons Summer Camp is open to both girls and boys ages Pre-K through Elementary School. Cost of the camp is $120 per camper, which includes a Camp T-shirt and three days of introductory training sessions that will incorporate team play and learning to work and support others through teamwork. The camp will take place on July 11-13 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
The Lil' Falcons program is designed to begin an athletic adventure for any young player. Regardless of size, shape or level of athleticism of the child, this program is designed to work big muscles and begin the eye-hand coordination efforts required to enjoy athletics. The training will put an emphasis on motor development through various volleyball skills. Groups will be divided according to age and skill level. Training will be adjusted according to the group in order for each camper to learn and improve as much as possible. This is a great program for girls and boys who want to learn volleyball with fun being the focal point.

All Skills Camp (Register Here)
The All Skills Camp is open to both girls and boys entering 7th through 12th grades. Cost of the camp is $325 for overnight resident campers, which includes housing, meals and a Camp T-shirt. The cost is $275 for commuters, which includes a Camp T-shirt. The camp will take place on July 11-13 inside the Stroh Center. Check in will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on July 11.
The All Skills Camp is designed for beginning and intermediate level junior high and high school girls and boys that will offer instruction and training in the skills and techniques of passing, setting, attacking, serving and defense. Emphasis is placed on developing court movement, ball control, as well as game competition. A variety of drills, games and competition will be used to put these techniques into practice. Campers are divided onto courts by skill level, age and experience, which provides the appropriate learning environment. Skills camp sessions will be conducted in the Stroh Center. This camp is a three day (seven session) camp.

Serve & Pass Clinic (Register Here)
The Serve & Pass Clinic will take place on July 14 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The camp is open to girls and boys of all ages and is only $60 per camper. Participants in the All Skills Camp will receive a $20 discount for the Serve & Pass Clinic. Campers will also receive a Camp T-shirt.
The Serve & Pass Clinic is a mini-camp designed for the player interested these specialized skills. These two skills are arguably the most important in the game of volleyball and should be trained and focused on as such. This camp is geared for the beginning, intermediate and advanced level player. Players will be grouped by skills and experience level to foster maximum skill development. This is a one-day training camp.

- This serving & passing clinic is designed for the player interested in skill training in the fundamentals of serving
- The clinic is geared for the beginner to intermediate level volleyball athlete, where players are grouped by skills and experience
- Players are coached by BGSU coaches and student-athletes
- Cost includes all instruction and camp T-shirt
