Bowling Green, Ohio – Bowling Green State University head volleyball coach Danijela Tomic is pleased to announce the addition of both Paulina and Victoria Iacobelli (Novi, Mich./Novi H.S.) to the BGSU volleyball program as part of the 2016 class.
"We are very excited to welcome Paulina and Victoria into our BGSU volleyball program. They are two outstanding and driven young women who perfectly fit our team culture and expectations. Their athleticism and the ability to play multiple positions, as well as their ball control, will add depth and competitiveness to our team," commented Coach Tomic. The Iacobelli twins, both of which are 5-9 outside hitters, lettered for four years on the volleyball team at Novi High School for coaches Jen and Ricky Cottrill.
The duo led the Wildcats to four straight KLAA Championships in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015. Both Paulina and Victoria had their careers culminate with an overall record of 55-2 and a Michigan Class A State Championship Title their senior seasons in 2015 after finishing as the Class A State Runner-Ups in 2014.

She was named to the All-Region and All-District Teams in 2015, after earning a spot on the KLLA All-conference Team for the second straight year. In 2014, as a junior, Paulina was named to the MIVCA All-State Second-Team and also received All-Region, All-District, All-Conference and First-Team All-County honors.
