Toledo, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University track and field team closed out the regular season Thursday and Friday at the Toledo Invitational, entering limited competitors in preparation for the MAC Championships in a week. The Falcons had the opportunity to compete on the same track that the league championship meet will be contested.
The Falcons won two events as Raven Porter outjumped the competition in the high jump. She cleared 5-feet-7 to top the field. As well, Bowling Green's 1600 relay team of Gabrielle Edwards, Brianna Johnson, Kera Lamotte and Taylor Rambo ran a season-best time of 3:49.51 for a first-place finish, trimming six seconds off their previous 2016 best.

Freshman Cheyenne Oswald posted collegiate best times in both the 200 and the 400 for the Falcons.
Bowling Green turns its focus towards the MAC Championships, which begins Thursday morning at Toledo and runs through Saturday. The Falcons will look to improve upon a ninth-place finish at the meet a year ago.
