Falcons Complete Open Scrimmage As 2016 Season Approaches

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University volleyball team held an open scrimmage Saturday (Aug. 20) afternoon inside of the Stroh Center. The team practiced for about two hours, and concluded the session with some scrimmage action.

The fans that attended were also invited to a meet and greet with the team in the Anderson Club after the scrimmage. Above is a video with head coach Danijela Tomic.

Bowling Green opens the season in less than a week by hosting the Hampton Inn Invitational over Aug. 26-27. Over the two-day invitational, the Falcons will battle against VCU, Oakland and Louisville.

The Falcons will be playing a total of 15 home matches inside the Stroh Center this season, which is the most home matches for the program since 2005. The Orange and Brown open up conference play with a home match against Miami University on Sept. 22.
