EMERSON, Ga. – After sweeping a doubleheader yesterday, the Bowling Green State University baseball team dropped a 5-0 decision to Army West Point on Saturday (March 11) evening. The ballgame was played at the LakePoint Sports Complex in Emerson, Georgia.

We have a chance to end this trip by winning three of our last four games."
Brad Croy turned in a quality start, as he allowed three runs over 6.0 innings of work. The right-hander struck out four batters, and issued three walks. Army jumped out to an early lead by plating two runs off Croy in the second.
The Black Knights went on to score another run in the sixth, before tacking on two insurance runs in the eighth. The Falcons were held to just three hits, while the Orange and Brown committed two errors. Army racked up eight hits, and did not commit an error.
Wes Rickenberg relieved Croy and allowed two unearned runs over two innings. The right-hander tossed a perfect seventh inning, striking out two batters in the process. He did not allow a hit, and walked one batter.
