Kallie Seimet Named MAC East Defensive Player Of The Week

Senior Kallie Seimet reached several milestones over the weekend in matchups versus Miami and Western Michigan. The libero from Oregon, Ohio continues to lead the NCAA in digs per sets with an updated average of 6.58 having registered 408 digs over 62 sets throughout the season.
In the Falcons' matchup against the Miami RedHawks, Seimet totaled a season high of 37 digs, averaging 9.25 digs per set.

Against Western Michigan, Seimet went low for the ball 32 times, bringing her total in digs over eight sets to 69, for a digs per set average of 8.625.

Here's the thing though, Seimet reached the 2,000 careers digs milestone as a BGSU Falcon over the weekend. The libero was rightfully named MAC East Defensive Player of the Week for the second time in September for her accomplishments over the weekend. Congratulations, Kallie!
