Kallie Seimet and Isabelle Marciniak Earn MAC Athlete Of The Week Honors

Kallie Seimet and Isabelle Marciniak have been announced as Mid-American Conference Athletes of the Week after impressive performances against Kent State and Ohio.

The Falcons were simply dominant in their home court and swept both teams over the weekend, meaning the Orange and Brown played a total of six sets, but that did not stop Seimet nor Marciniak from posting high set averages in digs, and assists.

Seimet had no receiving errors over the weekend and left the Stroh Center with a digs per set average of 5.83 from 35 total digs. The libero was also involved in the team's attacking efforts by putting up seven assists for her teammates, and registering a single service ace from the end line.

Marciniak orchestrated the team's attack; Marciniak's statistics from the weekend include 62 assists for an average of 10.33 assists per set, six of her own kills, and 18 digs.

The Falcons now look to build on their latest win streak in road games versus Central Michigan on Oct. 11, and Eastern Michigan on Oct. 13.
