Kallie Seimet Earns Back-To-Back AVCA Northeast Region Honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the Division I Regional Awards Tuesday, and senior libero for the Bowling Green State University volleyball program Kallie Seimet has earned back-to-back AVCA Northeast Region honors.
The libero ends her final season as a Falcon Volleyball student-athlete with an extensive list of team and individual honors. In 2018, Seimet earned a second MAC Regular Season title, and she was the first player in Mid-American Conference history to be named back-to-back MAC Player of the Year and MAC Defensive Player of the Year. Seimet was also MAC East Defensive Player of the Week in five occasions throughout the regular season.
The senior was named to the All-MAC First Team, and the Academic All-MAC Team.
In non-conference, the native of Oregon, Ohio was MVP in the BGSU Invitational Tournament and featured in the Duquesne Tournament All-Tournament Team.
