Alec Rauhauser Named To 2019-20 All-CHN Preseason Team

Bowling Green, Ohio – Alec Rauhauser of the Bowling Green State University hockey program has been named to the 2019-20 All-CHN Preseason Second Team. College Hockey News announced Monday, Sept. 30.
The senior from Bismarck, North Dakota was named team captain of the Falcons by Head Coach Ty Eigner in April 2019. Rauhauser's contributions to the 2018-19 campaign included 26 recorded points with 22 assists. This led all Falcon defensemen, and was second highest among blueliners in the WCHA. He also led the squad in plus/minus at +21 on the year, which was fourth best in the entire conference by season's end. Rauhauser was also an All-American for the 2017-18 campaign.
The Falcons begin their 2019-20 campaign this Sunday (Oct. 6) when they travel to Oxford, Ohio to take on the Miami Redhawks for the season opener. The puck drops at 5:00 PM.
Following the Ice Breaker Tournament in Toledo, Ohio, BGSU's home opener will be Friday, Oct. 18 at 7:07 PM in Slater Family Ice Arena against the Broncos of Western Michigan University.
