Alumni Night Begins Promotions Packed Weekend For Volleyball

Bowling Green, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball team will return to the Stroh Center this week with a full slate of promotions. With two home conference matches, the Falcons will be hosting Alumni Night and an Orange Out at Friday's match followed by a Chalk Talk and Heroes Day on Saturday.

Alumni Night (Friday)
The Orange and Brown will be welcoming back alumni of the program for Friday's match. Alumni will receive complimentary tickets for the match against Akron with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m. Alumni can indicate that they are such at the main ticket window at the Stroh Center (Falcon Statue entrance) to confirm their tickets. Alumni in attendance will be recognized during the match and are invited to sign the volleyball alumni board following as well as join in a group picture on the court.
Orange Out (Friday)
Friday's match against Akron will also be an Orange Out for the Falcons. Fans in attendance are asked to wear orange to support Bowling Green. Additionally, the first 50 fans will receive a free t-shirt. The BGSU Drumline will also be performing at the match.

Chalk Talk with Coach Tomic (Saturday)
Prior to Saturday's match, Coach Tomic will be holding the first of four Chalk Talks, available to all volleyball season ticket holders. The event will begin at 4 p.m. and will be held in the Stroh Center classroom. The staff will be breaking down how the team prepares for the match, discussing film, scouting and answering questions.
Heroes Day (Saturday)
The final promotion of the weekend will be for Saturday's match against Buffalo, Heroes Day. All Military, EMS, Police and Firefighters will receive free admission to the match. Also, the first 100 fans will receive a free Freddie Falcon Military Bobblehead. Following the match, there will be player autographs on the main concourse on the east side of the arena.
