Bowling Green Concludes Play At MAC Fall Preview

Final Results
AKRON, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University women's golf team wrapped up play at the MAC Fall Preview on Tuesday (Oct. 8) afternoon. The tournament was held at Silver Lake Country Club in Akron. The same course will host the 2020 MAC Championships in late April.
The Falcons finished in eighth place at the event, while Eastern Michigan came from behind on the final day to claim the team championship.
BGSU's Jessica Madry carded a third-round 78, moving up seven spots on the individual leaderboard to finish tied for 15th. Madry led the Falcons, and the finish marks the best of her senior season to date.
Kayla Davis and Nichole Cox earned top-30 finishes, as the pair both finished tied for 29th on the individual leaderboard. Bowling Green's lineup also featured Erin Korn, Dani Austinson and Aly Kovach. Korn's finish was the best of her young career.
Cox led the Falcons with five birdies, while Madry's 3.17 par-three scoring average ranked tied for fourth in the field. Davis (4.47) and Madry (4.50) were amongst the leaders in par-four scoring. Cox also ranked tied for fourth in par-five scoring average (5.08).
