UP NEXT FOR THE FALCONS...
• The Bowling Green State University women's basketball team begins the December portion of the schedule with a trip to West Virginia this weekend. Head coach Robyn Fralick and the Falcons face Marshall University on Saturday (Dec. 7), with tipoff scheduled for 1:00 p.m at the Cam Henderson Center.
• The Marshall game is the fifth in a stretch of eight consecutive contests away from home. BG's last home game was played on Nov. 18, and the Falcons will not play at the Stroh Center again until Dec. 30.
• The eight-game stretch begins and ends with games in the state of Indiana, and BG also plays contests in Illinois, West Virginia, Wisconsin and north of the border in British Columbia during that time.
THE OPENING TIP
• Junior Angela Perry exploded for 36 points in the Falcons' 98-60 win over California Baptist on Saturday (Nov. 30). Perry's total was the third highest in program history, and marked the most points ever scored by a BGSU player not named Lauren Prochaska.
BGSU RECORD BOOK – POINTS, GAME
43 Lauren Prochaska vs. Central Michigan, 2/15/09
37 Lauren Prochaska at Eastern Michigan, 2/12/11
36 Angela Perry vs. California Baptist, 11/30/19

THE STARTING FIVE (FIVE FASCINATING FALCON FACTS)
• In BG's win over California Baptist on Saturday, junior Angela Perry went 16-for-22 from the field. Perry's total of 16 field goals made ties the school record. Only Jacki Raterman has made as many shots from the floor in BG history, and Raterman's 16 FGM came in a four-overtime win (at Ball State; Jan. 6, 1999).
• Perry is shooting an even 70 percent from the field this season, having made 42 field goals in 60 attempts. She is currently ranked sixth in the nation in FG percentage.
• Another BG junior, Madisen Parker, made 10 three-point field goals in the Falcons' three games in the Greater Victoria Invitational last weekend. Parker has made 28 triples this season to date. She is third in the nation in three-pointers per game (4.00) and sixth in the country in total three-point field goals made.
• Fourth-year Falcon Caterrion Thompson had 11 points and a game- and career-high 13 rebounds in the win over California Baptist. For Thompson, it marked her second career double-double, and her second in the last four games.
• Thompson has scored 10 or more points in every game this year to date. She is the first Falcon in 13 years – and only the fifth in the last 26 seasons – to start the season with seven or more double-digit scoring games.
A QUICK LOOK AT THE THUNDERING HERD
• Marshall is 5-3 on the year, and the Thundering Herd will enter the BGSU game riding a two-game winning streak. Most recently, MU picked up a 72-60 victory at Indiana State on Tuesday (Dec. 3).
• Marshall is 4-1 at home and 1-2 on the road this season to date. MU is +12.4 in scoring margin, averaging 68.3 ppg, and +3.9 in rebounding margin.
• Savannah Wheeler has 13.5 points per game off the bench, pacing four double-digit scorers. Kristen Mayo and Taylor Pearson have 11.3 and 10.9 ppg, respectively.
• Third-year head coach Tony Kemper welcomed back eight players from a year ago. The 2018-19 edition of the Herd went 17-15 overall and 10-6 in Conference USA, and Marshall picked up a win on the road in the Women's Basketball Invitational (WBI).
THE SERIES
• The Falcons lead Marshall, 11-3, in the all-time series, and BGSU has won the last three matchups. Last season, in the teams' first meeting since 2005, the Falcons picked up a 99-76 victory at the Stroh Center. Saturday marks BGSU's first game at the Henderson Center since late February of 2004. BG and MU met three times in the late 1970's, and 10 times from 1998-2005, while Marshall was a member of the MAC. The Falcons are 7-1 at home, 3-2 on the road and 1-0 at neutral sites vs. the Thundering Herd through the years.
DOWN THE ROAD
• Following the Marshall matchup, the Falcons hit the road again next weekend. BGSU will face Milwaukee next Saturday, Dec. 14, with tipoff scheduled for 2:00 p.m. ET at the Klotsche Center. Then, the Falcons will head to the Windy City for a Monday (Dec. 16) matinee vs. Loyola University Chicago.
• BGSU closes the pre-Christmas schedule with a game at Purdue on Saturday, Dec. 21. The Falcons' next home game is on Monday, Dec. 30, vs. Davis & Elkins.
