Falcon Volleyball To Start Spring Schedule Saturday In Maumee

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball program will begin their spring schedule on Saturday, March 16. The Falcons will compete at the Premier College Spring Tournament, hosted by the Premier Academy in Maumee, Ohio and will be one of seven teams at the event. This will be the first of three spring tournaments on the Falcons' schedule as of now.

Doors will open at 9 a.m. in Maumee with the tournament beginning at 10 a.m. Each match will be using a best two of three sets format and there will be a $6 per person spectator fee. In addition to BGSU, the tournament will feature Toledo, Akron, Kent State, Eastern Michigan, Oakland and Purdue Fort Wayne. The Falcons' schedule for the day is listed below.
10:00 a.m. - BGSU v. Akron - Court 1
11:10 a.m. - BGSU v. Toledo - Court 1
1:30 p.m. - BGSU v. Kent State - Court 3
The Falcons concluded the 2018 season with a 19-12 record, including being 13-3 in the Mid-American Conference and winning the second of back-to-back MAC Regular Season titles. From the 2018 squad, BGSU saw four athletes graduate, but have already announced the signing of multiple incoming freshman, including Madelynn Luebcke who is on the current spring roster.
