Volleyball Set For Second Spring Tournament This Weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bowling Green State University volleyball program will play their second spring match on Saturday, March 30. The Falcons will compete in Michigan State's Volleyball Tournament, held in East Lansing, Mich. and will be one of six teams at the event. This will be the second of three spring tournaments on the Falcons' schedule as of now.

Each match will be using a best two of three sets format. In addition to BGSU, the tournament will feature Michigan State, Oakland, Toledo, Notre Dame and Ferris State. The Falcons' schedule for the morning is listed below. The afternoon times are listed as well with matches being determined by the morning results.

9:00 a.m. - BGSU v. Ferris State - Court 2
10:00 a.m. - BGSU v. Notre Dame - Court 2

12:30 p.m. - 3rd v. 3rd - Court 1
1:30 p.m. - 2nd v. 2nd - Court 2
1:30 p.m. - 1st v. 1st - Court 1

This Falcons concluded the 2018 season with a 19-12 record, including being 13-3 in the Mid-American Conference and winning the second of back-to-back MAC Regular Season titles. From the 2018 squad, BGSU saw four athletes graduate, but have already announced the signing of multiple incoming freshman, including Madelynn Luebcke who is on the current spring roster. The Falcons previously participated in the Premier Volleyball College Spring Tournament on March 16.
