Seven Falcons Recognized As 2018-19 Krampade All-American Scholars

Bloomington, Minn. – Seven members of the Bowling Green State University hockey team were named Krampade All-American Scholars, as announced by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA). Alex Barber, Sam Craggs, Connor Ford, Brandon Kruse, Frederic Letourneau, Casey Linkenheld and Chris Pohlkamp earned the honor.
Student-athletes must attain a 3.6 grade point average in each semester and participate in 40 percent of their school's games during the 2018-19 season.
"We are extremely proud of this group of student-athletes who have competed at the highest levels of the game on the ice and matched that performance in the classroom," said ACHA executive director Joe Bertagna. "The sport demands a great deal from these athletes so it is a great statement they make, individually and collectively, with their ability to attain this level of academic achievement."
Season tickets are on sale now for the 2019-20 BGSU Hockey season. BGSU played the eventual National Champions in Minnesota Duluth at the 2019 NCAA Tournament, and won 20-plus games for the fifth-consecutive season. For more information on season tickets, CLICK HERE.
