BGSU Hockey To Celebrate 50th Anniversary Feb. 22 Against Ferris State

Bowling Green, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University athletics department has announced that it was celebrate 50 years of BGSU Hockey on Feb. 22 when the Falcons host Ferris State.
In the weeks leading up to the game, BGSUFalcons.com will recap the first five decades of Falcon Hockey. Many events, recognitions and promotions are being planned for the contest and more information will be available on the website and on social media as the date approaches.
Fans can learn about the future of Slater Family Ice Arena at the conclusion of the game, as plans for the ice arena renovation project will be publicly unveiled. A free public skate will also take place following the presentation.
The game will also serve as Senior Night, recognizing BGSU's four seniors – Casey Linkenheld, Alec Rauhauser, Frederic Letourneau and Jacob Dalton. It will also be the annual Sic Sic unveiling.
