BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green ice hockey team will host Northern Michigan in the second of back-to-back home series this weekend, Dec. 5-6. Following this weekend's series, the Falcons will enjoy a three-week break from action, until they host the US National Team Development Program on Dec. 29. Puck drop for Friday's game against the Wildcats is slated for a 7:07 p.m. puck-drop, and Saturday's action is set to begin at 6:07 p.m.

The Falcons are coming off a sweep of the Princeton Tigers, as they earned a comfortable 4-1 win on Friday night. Saturday's game proved a much tougher test, but Quinn Emerson's late power-play goal earned the Falcons a 4-3 win to complete the sweep.

Key Storylines

The Falcons were represented in November's CCHA Player of the Month awards, as Noah Morneau earned Rookie of the Month for his six goals and three assists over the month of November.
Quinn Emerson has continued his fine form this season, as he added another goal and assist this weekend, bringing him to a team-high 16 points in 2025-26.
The Falcons continue to split time in goal between Tyler Palmer and Jacob Steinman as each started a game against Princeton and earned a win in the series.
Bowling Green sits atop the NCAA in faceoff win percentage, at 61.7% on the season.
Northern Michigan comes into this weekend's series winless on the season through 16 games and is coming off a 3-2 loss against Minnesota State last weekend.
Bowling Green currently sits at third in the CCHA behind Bemidji State and Minnesota State, accumulating 19 points through 10 CCHA games.
