BG Falcon Hockey Sees 11 Named WCHA Scholar Athletes

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - The Western Collegiate Hockey Association announced this year's recipients of the Scholar Athlete awards with 11 Falcons being named. To be recognized as a Scholar Athlete, each candidate must have completed at least one year of residency at their present institution prior to the current academic year. Additionally, they must maintain at least a 3.50 GPA for the previous two semesters or have a 3.50 cumulative GPA for all terms at their present institution.Â

The Falcons are preparing to close out the regular season this weekend, traveling to face Alabama Huntsville on Friday and Saturday (Feb. 28-29).
